    Avocado Cilantro Salad Dressing Recipe

    Time to prepare: 7 minutes

    What You Need:

    • 1 ripe avocado
    • 1 peeled clove of garlic
    • ¼ cup sour cream 
    • ¼ cup cilantro, roughly chopped
    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon lime juice
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ⅓ cup water

    Instructions:

    Place all your ingredients (except for the water) in a food processor or blender and blend them until they reach a smooth consistency. You can substitute greek yogurt for the sour cream to cut down on calories. If you find yourself out of limes, you can also substitute lemon or white vinegar instead for lime juice. Add water a little at a time until your dressing reaches your desired thickness, we usually use about ⅓ cup. 

    You can keep this dressing refrigerated in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

    Creamy Avocado Salad Dressing Recipe

    Time to prepare: 5 minutes

    What you need:

    • 1 large, ripe avocado
    • 1 peeled clove of garlic
    • 3 tablespoons avocado oil
    • ½ tablespoon lime or lemon juice
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ cup water

    Instructions:

    Half your avocado and remove the pit. Scoop the avocado out of the skin. In a food processor, blend together all of the ingredients, except for the water. You can substitute olive oil for avocado oil if you desire. Blend the ingredients until the consistency is smooth, then slowly add water until your salad dressing reaches the desired consistency, usually about ¼ cup. Store your avocado salad dressing in the refrigerator for up to a week.

    Avocado Ranch Salad Dressing Recipe

    Time to prepare: 10 minutes

    What You Need:

    • ¼ cup ripe avocado
    • 1 tablespoon buttermilk
    • ¼ cup mayonnaise
    • ¼ cup sour cream
    • 1 ½ teaspoon distilled white vinegar
    • ⅛ teaspoon dried parsley
    • ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 pinch dried dill weed
    • 1 pinch garlic powder
    • ⅛ teaspoon salt

    Instructions:

    Mash your avocado together in a bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, and sour cream. Then sprinkle in the salt, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and dill. Stir all the ingredients together until they are well blended. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve. Keep the salad dressing refrigerated for up to a week.
