Subway has made the decision to overhaul its menu during this 2021 summer. Not only is Subway upgrading their existing ingredients, but they are also adding new Subway toppings and completely novel sandwiches.
Eat Fresh Refresh
When can you start enjoying these new menu items? The company states the new Subway toppings are set to hit their menu relaunch on July 13th. Subway is celebrating its newfangled menu by giving away free subs on the launch day. How can you score a novel sub? Head to a participating store between 10 am and 12 pm on July 13th. The new menu will include over 20 updates, including 2 revamped bread options: artisan Italian and hearty multigrain. Other updates include a parmesan vinaigrette option, crispier bacon, thinner slices of ham and turkey, and a delicious new shaved steak. The most exciting part of Subway’s refresh: the unique sandwiches!
New Subway Toppings and Sandwiches
Some of Subway’s sandwiches are benefiting from this menu glow-up.
Turkey Cali Fresh (or Steak Cali Fresh) With New Subway Toppings
The turkey cali fresh puts the new bacon and turkey slices on a sub. New Subway toppings smashed avocado and fresh mozzarella team up with old favorites mayonnaise, spinach, red onions, and fresh tomatoes. All this goes on the novel Hearty Multigrain bread. You can also order a steak cali fresh, which swaps the beef for the bird.
The Sub Club will see oven-roasted turkey, roast beef, and Black Forest ham. Other toppings include red onions, lettuce, and tomatoes also on Heart Multigrain bread. A similar option is the American Club, which will come on Artisan Italian bread. The changes don’t stop there though, the American Club also switches out roast beef for hickory-smoked bacon and adds American cheese.
Closing at 6 pm
To prepare for new Subway toppings and all the other changes to their menu, locations will close at 6 pm on July 12th. Between 10 am and noon on July 13th, the first 50 people in participating locations will receive a free 6-inch Turkey Cali Fresh sub, no purchase necessary.
